You define territories in Salesforce (e.g., 'Northeast', 'West Coast', 'EMEA') and assign reps. You also define lead fit criteria (e.g., 'SaaS companies, 50–500 employees, >$10M revenue'). When a new lead arrives, Nora matches it to a territory, checks fit, and assigns to the rep in that territory with the lowest open lead count. Example: Lead arrives from 'Acme SaaS, Boston, $50M revenue, 200 employees'. Territory match: Northeast. Fit check: Yes (SaaS, right size and revenue). Current rep workload: Sarah (8 open), John (6 open, currently on PTO). Assignment: John. Email: '[Acme SaaS intro], Boston-based, 200-person SaaS company'. This eliminates bottlenecks—hot leads don't sit in a queue waiting for a rep. It's also fairer—workload is balanced, not based on 'whoever checks email first'. Reps get leads faster, reducing response time from 2–4 hours to <30 minutes, which improves conversion. You can override assignments manually if a rep requests a specific lead (conflict of interest, etc.), and Nora learns from overrides to improve future matches.
