Domain Health Check
Verify your DNS, email, and SSL are working correctly
Nora checks your GoDaddy domains daily and verifies: DNS resolves, email MX records work, SSL certificates are valid. Alerts on issues.
A domain can technically be 'active' but have broken DNS, dead email, or expired SSL. These issues kill your business silently. Nora queries your GoDaddy domains daily and performs automated health checks: (1) DNS resolution — does the domain's A record point to your server? (2) Email — do the MX records route mail correctly? (3) SSL — is your certificate valid and not expired? (4) WHOIS — is your domain publicly registered or private? Nora tests each service from multiple geographic locations to catch regional failures. If any check fails, you get an alert with diagnostic info: 'DNS resolve failed from US-East region', 'SSL certificate expires in 15 days', 'Email MX record points to invalid IP'. This prevents downtime — you learn about a DNS propagation failure within hours, not after customers call. For mission-critical domains, this automation is essential.
How it works
- Query GoDaddy for all domains and their DNS/email/SSL configuration
- Test DNS resolution from multiple geographic locations (US, EU, Asia)
- Verify MX records and test email delivery with a test message
- Check SSL certificate validity, expiration, and chain integrity
- Test web server connectivity on port 80/443
- Generate health report with pass/fail per domain and alert on critical failures
