Nora queries your GoDaddy DNS records weekly and checks: (1) SPF record — is it present, valid, and not too complex? (2) DKIM — are DKIM records added for your email provider (Google, Office 365, etc.)? (3) DMARC — is a DMARC policy set to 'reject' or 'quarantine' to prevent spoofing? Nora validates each record's syntax and flags common mistakes: SPF records with too many DNS lookups (causes failures), missing DKIM selectors, DMARC policy set to 'none' (ineffective). It also checks for misconfigurations like SPF records pointing to deprecated mail servers. The report ranks issues by severity: a missing SPF record is critical (emails will fail), missing DKIM is moderate (may hit spam folder), weak DMARC is low priority (doesn't break delivery but leaves you vulnerable to spoofing).
