Auto-Label and Sort Inbox
Automatically categorize incoming emails (leads, invoices, spam) with smart labeling
Gmail integration that reads incoming emails and applies labels based on content, sender, and keywords. Keeps your inbox organized without manual sorting.
As emails arrive, Nora reads the subject, sender, and body text, then applies labels like 'Leads', 'Invoices', 'Support Requests', 'Spam Candidates'. You define label rules (e.g., 'any email from Shopify → Leads', 'any email with invoice number and pdf → Invoices', 'multiple recipients or obvious spam markers → Spam'). Rules can be simple (sender domain) or complex (keyword combinations + sender + file attachments). Example: An email arrives from 'contact@company.com' saying 'I'm interested in your SaaS product.' Nora labels it 'Leads' because it matches 'interest' keywords and comes from a business domain. Another email from 'billing@stripe.com' with an invoice PDF gets labeled 'Invoices'. A third email with obviously generic subject and multiple BCC recipients gets labeled 'Spam Candidates'. Over time, Nora learns your labeling patterns and improves accuracy. The inbox stays clean—you can focus on important emails, and high-volume emails (notifications, newsletters) are organized out of your way. Works with existing Gmail folders and nested labels (e.g., 'Client/Acme Corp').
How it works
- Intercept new incoming emails
- Extract subject, sender, body text, and attachments
- Match against defined labeling rules
- Apply appropriate labels (Leads, Invoices, Support, etc.)
- Move to archive if labeled and rule specifies
- Log labeling decision for feedback and rule refinement
