Route Docs to Approvers Automatically

Documents needing approval? Nora routes them to the right person and tracks sign-off

When you share a Google Doc with a special tag, Nora routes it to an approver, tracks their feedback, and notifies you when it's signed off.

Contracts, proposals, and policies need approval before sending. Nora watches for Google Docs shared with a specific label (you set it: e.g., '@needs-legal-review'). When a doc gets that label, Nora routes it to the designated approver (legal, finance, exec, etc.) via email with a direct link. Approver reviews the doc, adds comments, and replies 'Approved' or 'Revise and resend.' Nora tracks the entire conversation and notifies you of approval or requests for changes. You can require multiple signatures (legal AND finance) with handoff rules. All approvals logged in a Sheets audit trail for compliance. Cuts approval time from days to hours.

How it works

  1. Monitor Google Drive for new Docs with approval label
  2. Extract document name, URL, and creator
  3. Route to first approver with email notification and link
  4. Track approver comments and status in document
  5. If approved, move to next approver (if multi-sig required) or notify creator
  6. Log approval chain and dates in Sheets for audit
