Dropbox Storage Quota Warnings

Never run out of space—Nora alerts you when storage hits 80% and suggests cleanup

Nora monitors your Dropbox storage quota daily. When you hit 80% used, it alerts you and identifies the largest folders to clean up or archive.

Dropbox plans have storage limits. Nora checks your quota daily and alerts you if usage exceeds 80%, 90%, or your custom threshold. The alert includes current usage, percentage of quota, and days until full (projected). Nora also analyzes your files and suggests what to delete or archive: 'Your Videos folder is 45GB and hasn't been accessed in 60 days.' You can configure archival rules (e.g., 'Move files older than 1 year to external storage') and Nora will execute them. Prevents the painful situation where uploads fail because you're out of space.

How it works

  1. Query Dropbox account for current storage usage and quota
  2. Calculate percentage of quota used
  3. Check against thresholds (e.g., 80%, 90%, 95%)
  4. If threshold exceeded, identify largest folders by size
  5. Calculate projected fill date based on recent upload rates
  6. Send alert with usage, suggestions, and cleanup options
