CTR Optimization Alerts

Find keywords where your title/description aren't compelling enough

Nora analyzes your Google Search Console impressions vs clicks by keyword and alerts you when CTR is below target. Helps you rewrite titles and descriptions to get more clicks from the same traffic.

Getting to position #3 in Google is only half the battle — you also need people to click. A keyword with 1,000 monthly impressions but only 3% CTR (30 clicks) might be missing a rewrite of the title or meta description. Nora queries Search Console for every keyword and calculates CTR (clicks ÷ impressions). It benchmarks your CTR against industry averages for your position (e.g., position 3 averages 10% CTR). Keywords where your CTR is 30%+ below the benchmark get flagged for rewriting. Nora suggests new title tags and meta descriptions based on what competitors are using, including power words and numbers that boost clicks. For a site getting 50K monthly impressions, a 1% CTR improvement = 500 extra clicks = potential 10-20 new customers. This automation runs weekly and is like free money for your traffic.

How it works

  1. Query Google Search Console for impressions and clicks by keyword
  2. Calculate CTR for each keyword and compare to position-based benchmarks
  3. Identify 'low-hanging fruit' keywords with 30%+ below-benchmark CTR
  4. Extract current title/description from search results for underperforming keywords
  5. Suggest rewritten titles/descriptions with power words, numbers, and CTAs
  6. Calculate estimated traffic lift if CTR improves to benchmark (e.g., +150 clicks/month)
